Once Upon a Time ...
... there lived a Sim named Larana Leggasea.

All of her life she was picked on and put down ... and all because of the color of her skin. She couldn't help that her parents weren't from SimEarth. It wasn't her fault at all ... but kids are cruel. As a result of her ostricism, and as a result of the death of her parents when she was a mere child, she grew up very lonely. Before she was released from the orphanage (since no one wanted to adopt a child with a "strange" skin color), she vowed that as an adult, she would discover all the pleasures of life.
And it all started, when she was no longer a ward of the state. With all the money she had left to her in the world ($20,000), she purchased a plot of land.

A BIG plot of land.

A VERY big plot of land.

A very big, EMPTY plot of land.

The wind whistled past her head as she stood there and looked out over what would one day be a legacy for her family, her descendents.

As a matter of fact ... she stood there for quite some time before she decided that she needed some things. With what little money she had left over, she called some cheap contractors, and they built THIS:

It certainly wasn't much, was it? As a matter of fact ... it was kind of depressing. Larana was SO depressed, in fact, that she decided to make herself feel better by buying herself some new clothes. She called a taxi and made her way to the only community location in all of Universe City (at the time): the Victorian Gardens. And she picked herself up a couple of nice things including:
her underwear ...

her formal wear ...

her pajamas ...

her workout clothes ...

and her swimwear ...

If these clothes didn't attract attention ... NOTHING would.
With all of that purchased, she had very little left in her bank account, so ... her great job hunt began.

Because it paid the most out of all of the possible jobs, Larana decided that she would be a Security Guard.

She probably wouldn't stay in law enforcement ... as she had dreams of being a Hall of Famer ... but ... it would do for now. And after a time, she made enough money to add walls and a roof (not to mention a front door). Amazing!

But she was lonely. She hoped that she would meet some nice people soon. What good was enjoying life if there was no one to enjoy it with?
