To Live is the Greatest Adventure

When last we left Larana ... she was slightly sidetracked from her pleasure quest by the the birth of her daughter - Star.

But she decided that even with a child, there was pleasure to be had. She just had to find it! So she decided that a trip into town was just the thing. And she invited along a good friend that she'd met a while ago: Joe Carr.

Joe knew about her situation with Benjamin, but he didn't care. Larana was a beautiful and vivacious woman. He couldn't resist her otherworldly charms!

Larana's pleasure quest was well on its way once again! In the meantime, she still had Benjamin and Star at home, two people she still derived much pleasure from. Benjamin was her first real friend after all ... even if he didn't seem to be the fatherly type. He seemed to only be interested in learning things, reading things, studying things.

Being a father seemed to be one of the last things he thought about. But Larana made sure that he did his fatherly duties. She wasn't about to raise a child alone.

Yes. Star was her daughter ... the fruit of her womb. Her Twinkling Little Star (she liked to call her that).

And if there was one thing that Larana was quite sure of, it was that Motherhood was one of the greatest pleasures that she'd ever experienced.

But Star was growing up so fast! Before she knew it, it was her birthday!

And in an instant ...

Star was a toddler ... and very curious about the world in which she lived.

But can Larana still derive pleasure from the "Terrible Toddler Transition"?

Maybe ... maybe not.

And what about Joe Carr? Will she see him again?

Mmm ... probably.

Boy, wouldn't that be something if kids really did grow up right before your eyes like that? I hope Star is not too much of a terrible toddler!

Oh, I'm glad Larana likes being a mother, but it's a good question about whether or not she'll like the toddler years. It's funny how some sim-toddlers are perfect little angels, happy to chew on their fingers in their cribs, and others just scream and shake those bars! Star has quite a little tantrum going on there, doesn't she?
