Ahh ... Youth! (part 2)
So ... when last we left Larana (seemingly a LOOOOONG time ago), she was contemplating life, the universe and everything, and decided that there was still TOO much to do to obtain the ultimate pleasure in life. SO ... she partook of her weakness for infomercials and ordered the "Elixir of Life" ...

All warnings aside, she felt like she was in a pretty good mood ... so ... she drank all but one last glassful of the entire jug. She felt like a MILLION bucks afterwards and knew that her children would grow up with a mom at least until adulthood. She didn't want to drink it again (although she might partake of the last sip sometime in the future).

In the meantime, with Star having grown up well into childhood ...

... it was time for her to start school. She was so excited!

And everyday that she returned home, she would make sure that one of her parents helped her with her homework (usually Benjamin since knowledge was his thing).

Her mom was too busy taking care of herself, what with the new baby coming soon. And she didn't feel well most of the time.

So Star ... being very close to her mother ... decided to help out from time to time around the house (which Larana was extremely grateful for).

And besides ... Star REALLY loved cleaning. She felt a great sense of accomplishment from it.
Plus, she was just as excited about the new baby as her mom was.

Her dad didn't seem all that interested, but then again ... knowledge was more his thing. Star was just pleased he paid attention to her. Don't get it wrong though. Star loved her dad. But she did find herself trying to get them to do the "family togetherness" thing from time to time.

But with her mom being pregnant, she kept strenuous things to a minimum. Besides ... she had school work, too. She was working hard towards getting an A+. Her dad was really big on grades.

Next time ... Babies and Insanity!

Wow, Star has really grown up fast and gotten so mature...helping her mother out and all. I hope Ben gets a little more into the being a dad thing, though. Keep the updates coming!
I'm sooo looking forward to the next baby! And I must admit I also kind of hope that Benjamin gets kicked out soon. *evil grin* Anyway, the bottom line is that I enjoyed your update, and I'll keep an eye out for the next one. :)
Star is such a pretty girl. I just love that skin...where did you find it?
Ah, Star is such a sweetie. I hope the little problems between her parents don't effect her too much...
