Babies and Insanity

I apologize to the reader for such a long lapse between updates. But work has been CRAZY lately. But anyway, without further ado, the latest update to my Leggasea family Legacy.

In the last update, Larana decided that she didn't want to age as fast as Father Time was making her age. She wanted to be there for her children at least until they became adults. So she partook of the Elixir of Life.

Star started school and was very excited by this new life stage.

Star also started helping her mom around the house since Larana was pregnant with her second child ... and not feeling the greatest.

The excitement was growing in the household as Star and Larana eagerly awaited the newest member of the Leggasea household.

And now ... "Babies and Insanity"!

Labor is a pain. SERIOUSLY!

But the rewards are immeasurable. Welcome the newest member of the Leggasea household: Aurora.

But all is NOT well with mom ... that last pregancy really took a LOT out of her.

Like her mind ...

But a quick trip from the psychiatrist set her to rights again.

... much to the relief of Benjamin who decided that Aurora really shouldn't be around her mom ...

... what with her being insane and all. Shaking the hands of invisible people is just NOT right (in Benjamin's opinion).

(Note from me: that's -1 ... *cry*)

Once Larana was feeling more like herself, she really let Benjamin know (who was busy cleaning up the messes that were left behind when Larana went nuts) ...

... that she really didn't appreciate his attitude towards her after she had Aurora. She told him that if he just paid her a little bit more attention, gave her back rubs, hugged her ... SOMETHING that MAYBE she wouldn't have ended up in that predicament in the FIRST place.

She was really angry, and Benjamin ... I really don't know WHAT his problem is. Just LOOK at his expression ... evil @#$!

(Note from me: actually, this picture was taken after Larana finished her shower ... Benjamin had used the toilet and flushed it ... causing a SUDDEN change in water temperature. Hehe. She's giving him a piece of her mind alright.)

What's to happen in future installments? Will Benjamin take more of an interest in his family? Will Aurora get close to her crazy mother? Will Star become a teenager? Will burglars make visits? Find out next time!

Awesome. Poor Larana with the shrink visit. Aurora is SUCH a pretty name. I had planned on using it for the name of a neighbourhood at some point in time. Aurora Landing. Little Star is so cute, and I love the painting she's doing. :) Thanks for sharing!

What a funny update, sorry you got a -1 on your points but you can make that up in no time.

I just love how the other Sims react to the Sim that went looney

Aww, poor Larana. I know how she feels, though. *lol* No really, I didn't go that looney. But I hope she's feeling better soon, and is able to spend time with her beautiful new baby. Thanks for the update!

I hear that weird voice in my head, when I read the ending to your stories...sounds like the narrator of the Batman tv series! LOL!

Larana really had a terrible breakdown..it's too bad she's not getting the attention she needs from Benjamin. I love the kids' names!

Poor Larana visiting with the shrink. I hope things go better for her--no more babies maybe! That would surely keep the shrink away. I wonder if Benjamin will turn around--will he cherish his family or blow it with them?
