Life with Rora

When last we left off with the Leggasea household (after Star went to University at Academie Le Tour -- NOT Sim State), Aurora had just become a teen. And what a lovely teen she is!

Let's see what she's been up to since Star left her alone, shall we?

Ahhh ... I'm finally a teen, Star. FINALLY! I think I want to have a big family when I'm an adult ... and when I'm an old lady, I hope that three of my kids will graduate from University. That's what I hope.

So ... you think that you've been going through some stuff what with your "troubles" and your weird "phasing through people" thing? Well, wait'll you hear what's been going on in THIS house. Are you SURE you wanna come back here?

After you left ... I think dad went through some kind of midlife crisis ...



He took me out to a community lot to get me some new clothes ... and hopefully get himself some new clothes. I find lots of things I liked, but he didn't.

Did you know that Dad's grown a BEARD, Star? Couldn't you just DIE?!



And did you know that dad was a criminal ... a CRIMINAL, Star?!?!?! I hope none of my friends find out about this. Did YOU know about this?



Because MOM certainly knows ... and she doesn't seem to care! Can you BELIEVE that?!



But at least when he got his latest promotion, he DID finally change his look to look more 21st century. He's kinda hot. Do NOT tell mom I said that. She's been acting really ... WEIRD lately.

We went to a community lot together when I got home from school one day, and she invited her friend Marissa Bendett ... Bendette ... umm ... that blonde chick along with us.



Next thing I know ... Marissa sneaks into the changing booth (when she thinks I'm not looking) with mom while she was trying on a new bathing suit.



I do NOT know what went on in there ... but I can imagine ... especially when Marissa comes out with a smug expression on her face.



Mom seemed pretty happy when she walked out of the booth, too. But I don't know if it's cuz she looked like a 20 sim-day-old in that rather patriotic bathing suit (which was BARELY there), or because of what went on in that changing booth.

Has mom ALWAYS been this way, Star? Maybe she's going through a midlife crisis, too. I wonder what she's going to be like when she's a gramma.

*snicker*

Back to me ... I've been making friends right and left.



You remember {INSERT NAME ... when I remember it}, don't you? I think you and he were friends when you were in high school. He comes over sometimes ... you know ... to hang out.



And ... umm ... I think ... I think he likes me. I like him, too.



I don't know if he's ... you know ... marriage material or anything like that ... but ... he's really sweet.



And then there's my friend {INSERT NAME ... I'm so BAD with this stuff}. We play chess together all the time ... and sometimes even pool. I'm getting pretty good at pool, but I dunno if I'll ever be good enough for a scholarship to Academie Le Tour.

Yeah. You heard right, Star. I'm following you to college. You make it sound so neat!



Aside from pool and chess ... I AM trying to stay in shape. Dad's cooking has gotten REALLY good lately ... and I found myself weighing a bit more than I should. Yoga ROCKS!!

And speaking of dad ...

You know ... the criminal?




Did I say midlife crisis? Yeah ... BIG crisis. He wants to be YOUNGER! I've spent most of my life trying to get older, and he wants to get younger. Sheesh.



He even jams with me on the drums from time to time. He's gotten REALLY, REALLY good! I'm amazed sometimes. I hope I get that good someday.



Dad really likes to study, Star. Is that where you got it from? I wonder why I didn't inherit that drive for knowledge from him like you did. He's maxed several skills already. Where he finds the energy ... I have NO clue.



And he's also turned into "Mr. Fix-it", he's got so much energy.

Oh ... and speaking of energy ...



Can you say ... EWW!!! I could have gone the REST of my natural sim life without this image.

He and mom have been really "lovey-dovey" lately. Maybe with him being "younger" *rolls eyes* he's got certain needs he needs fulfilling.



Or maybe it has something to do with his latest promotion at work. He is NOW a criminal mastermind. *OHHHHH the SIMANITY!!*



Mom seems impressed. And dad seems impressed with mom's more toned figure now that she's an athlete.



They seem to talk more, too. Maybe it's a maturity thing? I'm not really certain.

Oh! Check out mom's new 'do. Doesn't she look chic?! I forgot to mention it earlier. I may go the straight route someday.

I think it's time I joined you at Academie Le Tour! YAY! I was accepted for early enrollment! *bouncies*



So early in fact that mom didn't even have a chance to contact the school to stop sending the school bus.



I mean, I already had my high school diploma and everything ... and the stupid private school still sends the bus.





What is UP with that? *sigh* *shakes head* You never can tell with private schools I guess.



Prepare for my invasion, Star. I'm coming atcha!
